SEO - Online Marketing internship in Barcelona

Our growing Marketing department is looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our young, dynamic team. It is ideal for those with a true interest in learning developing their search engine marketing skills and offers good opportunities for personal growth and development.

As part of the SEO team you will also understand how the search engines works and you will receive training on the different techniques to optimize a webpage and you will be responsible for the ranking improvement of the assigned websites.

SEO – 80%:

· Implementation of linking strategies
· Negotiation and management of online partnerships
· Follow up online partnerships and helping improve the process
· On-page optimization of our websites
· On-page competitor analysis
· SEO optimized copywriting and translating
· Meta data optimization
· Participate in the creation of new landing pages
· Participate in identifying opportunities to optimize new landing pages and keywords
· Keywords and Ranking analysis
· Traffic and performance reporting
· Website metrics analysis
· SEO Tools –SeoMoz Tools, Ahrefs, Keyword Adwords Tool, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster tools
· Content Creation for link purposes
· Create and manage relations with Bloggers
· Participate in identifying new opportunities for viral content creation
· Participate in viral content creation

Online marketing – 20%:

· Participate in e-mail marketing and banner translations
· Participate in the Social Media team for the research of new trends
· Online reputation management
· Participate in new PPC campaigns creation (possibility)
· Answer and follow up blog comments
· Participate in managing the company’s providers relationship
· Ad hoc tasks depending on the language

Requirements

· Must be a student of a Marketing related career as we need to sign a contract with a University or school
· English, Spanish, German, French or Italian native speaker
· Genuine interest in SEO and online marketing
· Fast learning capacity on how to use new tools, and enjoy the learning experience
· Shows initiative and is curious about new technologies, tools, internet and marketing news
· Speaks English and Spanish fluently, with other languages a bonus
· Good communication skills oral and written
· Excellent writing and translating skills
· Goal-oriented and organized
· Proactive and self-motivated work style
· Possess a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
· Likes responsibilities and work on projects on his own
· Likes to work in an office environment
· Interest of being a part of a constant learning environment.
· Likes working in an international environment
· Pro-active

· Has analytical skills

General Info
· Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 17:15 (1hr. lunch break)
· Remuneration: 500€ per month
· Minimum 4 months, desirable 6 months.
